Five cars live on Bring a Trailer this week that are worth knowing about, whether or not you're bidding: a 15-mile Ford GT, a Murciélago roadster in Amsterdam, a near-new Bentley Supersports convertible, a Memphis Red McLaren 720S Spider and a Cullinan in New Jersey.

Bring a Trailer runs more than a thousand live auctions at any one time. Most are ordinary. These five aren't. All the details below come from each car's listing, and all five auctions were open as of Thursday morning, November 5.

2020 McLaren 720S Spider, 6,000 miles

McLaren's 720S Spider puts a carbon-fiber Monocage II under a retractable hardtop and dihedral soft-close doors. This one is Memphis Red over black leather and Alcantara, with 19- and 20-inch lightweight forged wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes and an active rear spoiler. The selling dealer is in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The mid-mounted twin-turbo 4.0-liter flat-plane V8 was factory-rated at 710 horsepower and 568 lb-ft. Power goes to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch. The listing says the car has aftermarket ECU software and downpipes, a clean Carfax, and a lien that must be paid before the title can move.

2020 Ford GT, 15 miles

Fifteen miles. That is the odometer reading on this second-generation Ford GT, finished in Ingot Silver with over-the-top Shadow Black stripes. It was optioned with the Dark Energy interior package, an Akrapovič titanium exhaust and carbon-fiber aero panels. Multimatic built it in Markham, Ontario, around a carbon tub with aluminum subframes.

The mid-mounted twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 was rated at 660 horsepower for 2020. A Getrag seven-speed dual-clutch sends that to the rear wheels. Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes sit behind 20-inch satin silver wheels. Butterfly doors and a retractable active rear wing are standard theater.

Designed by Luc Donckerwolke as the Diablo's replacement, the Murciélago LP640 roadster is a mid-engine V12 with a removable black soft top. This one is Nero Nemesis over Nero Perseus leather and Alcantara, with carbon-fiber trim, yellow-caliper carbon-ceramic brakes, a front-axle lift and 18-inch Hemera wheels. The odometer shows 6,000 kilometers, about 3,900 miles. The car spent time in Monaco; it is offered in Amsterdam by the selling dealer on a French registration.

What to watch

The Ford GT is the one that stops the scroll. Fifteen miles on a second-generation car is not a driven example; it is a time capsule with a titanium exhaust. The Bentley is rarer than it looks: 125 US convertibles, under a thousand miles, and the last of the W12 Supersports era.

The Murciélago is the opposite kind of object. European history, a French registration and an Amsterdam dealer make the logistics real, but a low-kilometer LP640 roadster is the sort of car that does not sit in every showroom. The McLaren and the Cullinan are the modern daily extremes: a 710-horsepower spider with a known lien, and a white Rolls SUV with rear coach doors.

The Garage runs every Monday and Thursday. Bring a Trailer listings change quickly, so check bids and closing times on each listing before you act.
